Meet the Manager
Pantile Founder and Principal, Dr. David Baines
David started Pantile Asset Research in January 2021 with the mission to help investors optimize their wealth accumulation practices using the latest developments in investment research, deep quantitative analysis, and financial technology.
Originally from Boston, MA but now living in Westminster, CO, David holds a BS in Strategic Management from Suffolk University, an MBA in Finance from Boston University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration in Finance from Washington University in St. Louis. Throughout his 10+ year career in industry, he has held roles in technology, research, and finance at Apple, Verizon, and various smaller firms. Currently, David performs research in deep learning specific to investments at the University of Colorado Boulder as a PhD student in the Computer Science department.
